While school might be out, our students and staff have remained actively engaged in learning and growth over the summer. Our students made a meaningful impact through two mission trips to the Dominican Republic, immersing themselves in service and cultural exchange. We also hosted two sessions of Summer Adventure Care, where students enjoyed a variety of educational and fun activities.
Additionally, many of our dedicated staff members attended conferences to deepen their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. We are proud to announce that we had students participate in both Missouri Boys State and the Summit Ministries Student Conference. This summer has been a season of enrichment and development for our school community, underscoring that biblical worldview education is not confined to just 9 months of the year; it is a lifelong endeavor.

Northland Christian partnered with DR Missions to send two teams to the Dominican Republic. During their visit, our students engaged with children at the Bread of Life orphanage, prayed over new mothers in the hospital, helped set up and decorate a new preschool at Bread of Life, and provided a medical clinic in a refugee area. Our students showed great compassion and dedication, serving and supporting the people of the DR.

From exploring the wonders of space to discovering cultures around the world, understanding the intricacies of our amazing bodies, and diving into the fun of silly science, our students are experiencing a wide range of engaging topics.
The most rewarding aspect of these adventures is that they are all taught from a biblical perspective, ensuring that our students not only learn about these fascinating subjects but also deepen their faith. And, of course, they're having a lot of fun along the way!

Summit Ministries Student Conference
|
|
|
Every year, two Northland Christian High School students are chosen to receive the Nadine Elliott Scholarship Award. As recipients, they have the opportunity to attend the Summit Ministries Student Conference. For 2024, Kaelyn Barnes and Carlee Narron were honored with the award and participated in the conference this summer. The goal of Summit Ministries is to equip students aged 16-22 to embrace, defend, and live out a Biblical Worldview. The Student Conference offers a space where teens can explore their questions about life and faith, enabling them to grow in confidence in their convictions and become more effective ambassadors for Christ.
"While it was out of my comfort zone, I'm so glad I did it because it helped me grow as a person and a daughter of Christ. It helped me work through some of those challenging Biblical questions, which is perfect timing as I am a senior this year and will head off to college next fall. With the education I have received at Northland Christian and from the conference, it’s given me the preparation I need to face what’s ahead." Carlee Narron, Class of 2025
