Continuous Re-Enrollment Agreement

In an effort to make re-enrollment quicker and easier, Northland Christian Schools offers Continuous Re-Enrollment.  This allows NCS families to re-enroll their students with an online agreement that will carry forward, until choosing to Opt-Out or Unenroll.  Our goal is to save you time and eliminate submission of duplicate information year after year.  We do ask that you continue to be mindful of changes in personal, medical, sports related, church membership, financial data, etc. that would necessitate updates.  We will be communicating with you throughout the year to send you reminders as applicable.

By signing this agreement you agree to the following:

  • The terms of the Continuous Re-Enrollment Agreement are initiated by the signing of this contract.  The new online Tuition Authorization Agreement continues automatically through completion of 12th grade, or until NCS receives official notification of account changes or student withdrawal.

  • I/We will inform the Admissions Office no later than the last day of the annual Re-Enrollment period, should our plans change and my student(s) no longer wish to remain enrolled at Northland Christian Schools.

  • I/We recognize that the re-enrollment fee for my student(s) will automatically be remitted to the account provided in the online Continuous Tuition Authorization Agreement form on the 10th of February each year.

  • I/We reserve the right to unenroll my child as stated and will follow the steps outlined for the process in the Parent/Student Handbook withdrawal policy.

  • I/We will be responsible for any unpaid tuition or outstanding fees not yet collected in accordance with this policy, but will not be held responsible for tuition for any days in which my child was officially unenrolled from Northland Christian.

  • I/We understand that if we opt out or miss the re-enrollment deadline for the year that our family will be charged the late Re-Enrollment fee of $250 and may be required additional steps to confirm enrollment.

  • I/We understand that if our family is unenrolled from Northland Christian Schools for more than a year, I/we will be obligated to pay the New Family Enrollment Fee.

  • I/We understand that if our account is past due, we will not be automatically re-enrolled and are at risk of losing our spot.  I/We will not be allowed to enroll until our account is made current.

  • Any paid Continuous Enrollment Fee will not be remitted if we choose to unenroll post the re-enrollment period or mid school year.

  • School records will not be released for any family with a balance due on their account.

Statement of Faith

In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty and in all thing’s charity (Rupertus Meldenius, 17th Century, sometimes attributed to St. Augustine), "Christian" shall be defined as being in accordance with and in furtherance of the following Statement of Faith (Source: Association of Christian Schools International):

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).
  2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit2.  (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
  3. We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4: 15, 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), His Resurrection (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4), His Ascension to the right hand of God (Mark 16:19), His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).
  4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace and through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16–19, 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8–9; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:5).
  5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of condemnation (John 5:28–29).
  6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 2:12–13, Galatians 3:26–28).
  7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13–14; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19–20; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).

Statement on Gender, Marriage, and Sexuality

The biblical and philosophical goal of Northland Christian is to develop students into mature followers of Christ. This development includes, but is not limited to, issues of gender, marriage, and sexuality. As such, both prospective and current students at Northland are expected to live according to the beliefs outlined below. Refusal to support and to live by these beliefs will result in refusal of enrollment or expulsion.

  • We believe that the term "marriage" has only one meaning, which is marriage as created and sanctioned by God in which God joins one man and one woman in a single, life-long, and exclusive union as delineated in Scripture. (Genesis 1:27-28, 2:18-24; Matthew 19:4-9; Mark 10:5- 12; Ephesians 5:31-33)
    • In accordance with Northland's stance on immorality, children whose parent(s) cohabit(s) with another (outside of marriage as Biblically-defined) will not be considered for enrollment.
  • We believe in the sanctity and the preservation of human life, which begins at the moment of fertilization, and that any material cooperation in the termination of unborn human life is sin (Ps. 139:13-16; Isaiah 44:1-2; Isaiah 49:5; Job 10:8-12; Jeremiah 1:4-5; Luke 1:39-45).
  • We believe that any form of sexual immorality is sinful and offensive to God. Sexual immorality includes, but is not limited to, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography, and attempting to change one's biological sex or otherwise acting upon any disagreement with one's biological sex. (Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 18:6-23; Deuteronomy 5:18; Matthew 5:27-28, 15:19; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-13; Galatians 5:19-21; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8; Hebrews 13:4)
  • We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and repent from their sin, who seek His mercy and grace, and humbly ask for His forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 11:28-30; John 3:16-18, 14:6; Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Ephesians 2:1-10; Hebrews 2:17-18, 4:14-16)
  • We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Treating anyone contrary to these principles is unacceptable and not in accordance with Scripture or the policies of Northland Christian Education System. (Matthew 7:12; Galatians 5:22- 25; Ephesians 4:2-6; Colossians 3:12-17)
  • To maintain Christian unity, all Northland employees, volunteers, independent contractors, parents, and students must agree to abide by Northland’s Statement on Gender, Marriage, and Sexuality. Failure to do so will result in removal from Northland Christian. (Matthew 18:15-20; 1 Corinthians 5:9-13; 2 Corinthians 6:14-17)
